Teenage Daughter Wants To Shave?

My high school age daughter came to me asking for a razor and shaving cream a few nights ago. That instantly struck up a conversation

Both her and I have electric things to shave our leg hair off so I figured maybe that wasn’t working. I asked if the razor was for her legs

But when she said no I asked what hair? She said her pubic hair. I was surprised to her she wanted to shave it all off. I told her your electric shaver will work to clean up your bikini line but she said she wanted to go fully bare

Now maybe I’m old but I don’t understand the whole bare trend. I’ve had a bush since puberty. Occasionally I trim it or shave it into a square when wearing a bikini but why would a teenager want to shave it all off?
