I'm A Woman 1st A Lesbian 2nd, I'm Not Unique Married To A Man

I was about to celebrate five years together when my partner dumped me for another girl. She was the earner and I was the housewife, apart time artist. On the street I had to return home, 26, no job, no job skills. My parents felt that my lifestyle was at fault and they were not supportive. I went into a deep depression.

I got a job as a sales clerk in an artist supply store. I was too scared to get involved with a girlfriend. For some reason the store tended to hire gay people, male and female. For some reason I was turned off by my gay male supervisor. I have never been able to see the male gay person. As a female gay person my role as housewife and support partner was natural. My girlfriend was never a male imitator, she is quite comfortable in her female soul.

A friend of my father's told him he owned a condo and he would let me have it for an affordable rent. I wasn't told my father paid the balance. But I was able to move out. For six months it was more than OK, until a male moved in across the hall. He pressed me until I told him I was gay. He dismissed it, and went for the jugular. He pressed his male authority and physical size to overpower me. Once he had the advantage he pressed until he had me under his thumb.

Don't get me wrong, being under the thumb was my most natural role. I'm a natural born housewife, only this time I switched over to a man. Sex is sex, the big difference was getting pregnant, something I never worried about with my former partner. Now it was real, and I didn't protect myself properly.

I have two boys now, I'm a full time housewife. I've been married ten years. It's been a wild ride. I'm resigned to my life. Married is less stressful than being in an all woman relationship. I work out, cook, and keep house. Motherhood is not something I focused on, it came about. It's the unexpected reward of being married to a man.
