First Fundraiser

First year in college here. Decided to join a sorority. Right after pledging a couple of weeks ago, we were told to fundraise with local community members. The new recruit that raises the most gets an all expenses paid retreat during spring break.

Money was slow coming in for me. Like, some girls beat me to the community member or I just get rejected. I told my big about it and she gave me some advice, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to take that advice. I went to a local donut shop today and the manager told me that someone had already asked him. He did say though that he'd reconsider if I made it worth his while. I asked what he meant so he told me to come back after hours.
