If You Play, You May Have To Deal With An Unplanned Pregnancy

My wife and I had an open relationship before we married. We felt like we were a great match. Neither could be monogamous, and we had a lot of other things in common and we loved each other.

We'd tell each other about our encounters because it added spice to our own lovemaking. We never had to worry about keeping anything from one another. I even reassured my wife if she ever got pregnant by someone else I wouldn't get mad or try to make her terminate if she didn't want to. The way we live, it's not impossible.

At the time, my job required me to be away from home for part of the year. She also had a job that requires some travel and she had a quickie while in Italy. She was taking a break from birth control p*lls because of the side effects. She always used condoms too, but this time the comdom probably failed because they were going at it hard and crazy. She said the sexual tension kept building, and she got so horny she jumped the guy's bones more than the other way around. She never tried to shift any blame, and I admired that.

She missed her next period, and the doctor confirmed her home pregnancy test. We knew the baby couldn't have been mine because we hadn't had intercourse anywhere near the time she conceived because of our traveling for work. I kept my word. I knew she would never be comfortable with termination. We had a beautiful healthy daughter who is now 8, and later she had a handsome healthy son by me, now 5. I worried about whether I'd be able to love our daughter, but that was the key, she was OUR daughter as soon as she was born, and that's the way I've always looked at it. We haven't told her yet I'm not her bio father, but she deserves to know, and we're figuring out how to tell her.

We both have nine to five jobs now, and while we still play, two kids forces you to cut way back.
