I Kissed My Married Co-Worker

Me and my coworker are pretty good friends and we’ve bonded over a fondness for horror and the supernatural (that’s not really relevant, but just so you know).

She’s about 15 years older than me and married.

It happened earlier today. We were in private, just the two of us, and mid conversation I slipped my hand down onto the bench and accidentally made contact with hers. Our hands lingered and our eyes met and… we kissed.

It only lasted a few seconds and then we pulled away. I said I’d get back to work and she said “ok, I’ll see you later”. We smiled and haven’t mentioned it since.

I know I should probably regret it but honestly I don’t. It’s no secret that her husband isn’t the nicest guy, and some people gossip that they haven’t been “close” for a while.

Will we kiss again? Anything more than that? I don’t know. I certainly wouldn’t mind it, but I don’t wanna get ahead of myself. I just want her to be happy, really. Whether that involves me or not.

I dunno. I can’t really talk about this with anyone in person so I’m letting it all out here. Can’t imagine many would read this anyway but it feels good to get it off my chest.
