My New Me

At 35 I decided to go all in as a homemaker and mother. I married a nice enough guy, who could afford my new me. I promptly got pregnant, back to back boys, a six month break and then a girl. The house he bought for me is classic home in the suburbs, four bedrooms three and half bathrooms, den and formal living. With the help of a decorator it's totally comfortable and a home to grow up in for the kids. I can't wait for cub scouts and ballet for my girl.

This next week I'm taking lessons on big dinner entertainment, in time for Thanksgiving. We are having the extended family over.

One day I hope to look back on my decision, and rest on my laurels. I'm all in, one hundred percent. I'm loving being Mom and making a home for my family.

Congratulations and kudos to you. Being a homemaker and mother, a real honest to goodness stay at home mom is the most important, most noble, most essential job there is. It may be the hardest too but it is the most rewarding. Bringing new life into the world and raising strong, healthy, well educated children is the essence of our society. The American nation, actually any nation, cannot survive without suceeding generations of capable, productive, mentally straight children coming of age and entering the work force. The nation benefits and continues to benefit from the work of the many millions of mothers. Your an amazing and wonderful woman. I know you will do well in your profession. Your husband and children are very lucky to have you. We are lucky you are in our midst, doing what you do. We owe you our gratitude and wish you nothing but the best.
