Two Faces

One thing to realize is that today there are two faces. The public media face, and the other face. Same with people in the public eye. I fell in love with the public face. I'm talking about a newscaster.

So beautiful, all made up and pretty. The camera angle hid her imperfections, wide ass and stature. Her moderated voice distinct from her shrill punishing opinionated attitude. I should have known, but my love was with her public persona. I dated her, I guess, she dated me for money. A middle class girl, with a journalism major, with the right photogenic profile, a trained delivery.

I want to divorce her. She's not a wife, she's in love with what I can give her.
