My Heart Broken, She Walked Away, Never Gave Me The Chance I Wanted

I like fit girls, specifically Latina fit girls. So when Claudia interviewed for a job I had to hire her. Not so sure her direct supervisor thought her a good hire. I worked with her, hired a trainer to get her up to level with the other girls in her job. I got her a six month free membership at my club, she checked all the boxes the club wanted when she worked out.

I hovered over her, helped, made her life better. But she did not bite, not even a nibble. She needed lots of supervision, absent minded is what her supervisor said. I asked her if she wanted to go with me to a Saturday afternoon Greek festival. I was surprised as to how much skin she showed off. We walked, I took her hand, she took her hand back. I got jealous, guys staring, women giving her the eye. She didn't like the place we had an early dinner, too 'girly'.

No kiss, not even a hug. "Look, listen", she said "I don't do girls".

Here all along I thought she had a problem because we worked together, then out of left field she tells me she doesn't do girls? I pride myself in reading women, she's all lesbian, I guarantee it.

But lesbian or not, she kept her elbow locked, wouldn't let me in. Not even close. Not 'into women'.

I gave her one last chance, invited her to go sailing with two lesbian friends who agreed to help me get her, interested. We took the sailboat out on the bay, took anchor along other Sunday sailors. My friends got close to naked, and put on a show. I sat and told her that she was my 'dream girl' and I wanted more than a casual relationship. She repeated her story, just not into women.

My friends told me to give it up. They tried. We had a light dinner at the Marina, I told her I didn't want to go home heart broken. She gave me her 'I'm sorry' look. On the drive home she said 'one kiss', that was her limit. It was a little Itty bitty kiss. Like two distant cousins. That's all I got. She changed jobs shortly thereafter.
