My Son Asked Me For A BJ, And I Gave It To Him.

My oldest son has been a sleepwalker his whole life. Plenty of times I've heard him out and about the house in the middle of the night and walked him back to bed. So when he walked into my room last week at 2 am completely naked, with an erection, it didn't exactly shock me the way it would most people. It caught me off guard, but I knew it was just another sleepwalk. I gently said his name a few times and told him he needs to go back to bed. He was unresponsive at first. I called his name a little louder and told him he's sleepwalking and to go to bed. He finally replied to tell me that he was perfectly awake, and he couldn't sleep cause his "boner won't go away". He then walked right up to the edge of the bed where I was laying, placing his stiff penis within a foot of my face, and asked casually "can you suck it please?" As if he was asking if he could go out with some friends.

I was at a loss for words because though I've dealt with plenty of his sleepwalking episodes, I had never had anything like this happen. Unsure what to really do or say, I just ended up saying something like "fine, quickly, and then right back to bed." He responded simply "of course" and then immediately grabbed my head and started pulling me in.

At this point I had two choices:

One, I could stop, pull away, and try to wake him up by any means necessary, which is risky (you should not attempt to wake a sleepwalker). Plus there would be the very awkward experience of me catching him nude and erect in my room, and having to wake him in that state to send him back to bed.

Or two, I could just go with it and give him what he wanted, and then he'd peacefully go back to bed and not remember a thing in the morning,

I chose option two, and I believe (and hope) it was the right one.

Seeing how rock hard he was, and feeling his tight grip on my hair as he eagerly pulled my mouth to his genitals, I could tell my son was extremely aroused. Which, at the very least, meant I could finish him pretty quickly. Plus I knew he'd sleep like a baby afterwards without further issue. Denying him relief on the other hand, would have led to more frustration and restlessness. I did what I had to to give us both a peaceful, restful night. I relieved him fairly easily in under 2 minutes. He just goes "Thanks Mom. Love you. Night." and quietly returned to his room.

I don't know what to make of this incident. I won't say I'm proud of it or that I enjoyed doing it, but not exactly ashamed either. I'm just really confused. What caused this? Do I need to worry about it happening again? My son recalls none of this, and I haven't told anyone, so I've been keeping these questions to myself. Has this type of thing happened to other people with sleepwalking issues? Should I ask a doctor about this or something? Or just forget about it and hope it was a one time thing?
