How Could I Have Never Known

In a break from tradition and due to a work scheduling issue, my husband needed to work last night. It wasn’t a big deal as duty calls and yesterday was triple time for him…times 9 hours! I decided to head to my friend Corrine’s house for some girl time.

When I got there, it was just her. Her kids were all out with friends so it was just us. One thing led to another and out came the wine, actually a couple bottles of wine came out. About an hour later, we are in the kitchen making a snack, she grabs my hips and kisses me. I was completely shocked! I said to her, what was that? She responded with I have wanted to do that since high school. I took a minute to work through that, while she just stood there holding my hand and smiling.

As I started to talk, she moved in an kissed me again, but this time my mouth opened involuntarily. The kissing in the kitchen lasted about ten minutes and then she led me to her bedroom. When we got in there, we stripped each other and found her bed.

As you can guess, this was my first female female experience and I am still working through it. But the real question I have is how I did not know…she is my best friend! Ugh!
