If Great Grandma Did It, Why Shouldn't I

My sister and I found a shoebox, in a larger box in the attic, which held a few old black and white photographs we can describe as porn. We were 13 snd 14. It was when we were in our early twenties after college that we learned that couple in those old photographs were our great grandparents, on our mother's side. We sat with my mother, why did she keep them, hidden in the attic? Why not throw them away?

I learned something that day, other than young people in the 1920s had sex. Old photographs tie you to your past. I agreed to take the photographs and preserve them for some far flung future date explaining to my yet to be conceived daughter, that her great, great grandma liked to take if from behind, holding on to the back of the chair.

For the following several years both my sister and I photographed each other engaging in sex with boyfriends we had at the time. Including a photograph holding on to the back of a chair, taking it from behind. The photographs all developed in black and white, with handwritten notes on the back. We have these photographs in that old shoe box, for our future daughters to discover, and telling them both in pictures and handwritten notes. Enjoy sex, it's good for the soul.
