The Close Encounter That Ruined My Life

The year was in the last century. Late 1990s. I was an adjunct fine arts professor at a Community College, Freshman level introduction to fine arts. One girl, she seemed so young, so fresh was in my class. She had that look, that carry of a sensual goddess. I approached her to pose for me as I was doing a series of sketches of the 'mysterious' woman.

She was all that and more and she insisted I do a 'nude' of her, seductive. IMHO it is one of the most seductive sketches I have done. She was totally uninhibited, and after the pose she laid back and opened her legs 'do you want my pussy'.

The sex for a starving artist was great. Later, a few days later, she complained to the school that I had forced her into sex after luring her to my place. I was fired. Fortunately she was 18, barely. We settled, she got the sketches. And I got probation and lost my ability to teach.

During the #Metoo frenzy she resurfaced. The statutes of limitations had been lifted, I had inherited a comfortable sum from my parents. She came for my money. Deranged, is the only word I can use. The court refused a psychological evaluation of her, or a lie detector. Her 'word' unquestioned after twenty years, was fact certain. I lost, never had a chance.

A warning, yes. But more importantly a bigger question, what has happened with taking responsibility for her actions? She was not a 'victim', she was the initiator. Except in her own perverter mind.

I'm out of 'money' living on low SS as my earnings were never high to begin with. I live with two other men in a run down section of Baltimore, hand to mouth. I paint, but little income, no way really to promote my work. Happy New Year sucker!!
