A Better Way
At 30 years old, I was working for a law firm making mid level pay. I had an okay financial life. I was working a lot though and dating wasn’t a priority.
One Saturday afternoon my best friend asks for a favor. I said sure, anything. She goes on to ask me to join her in entertaining at a bachelor party.
Wait…hold on a minute…where is this coming from? She told me for the last year she has been escorting as a side hustle. I was shocked, but in hindsight, she wasn’t complaining about money anymore either.
I regroup and tell her that I am not sure. It is a reach for me and I do not think I could do it in person. I told her I would think about it but she should keep looking for someone else.
The night before her job she calls me and says Kelly, I really need this job and I could really use your help. Ugh….but I agreed to do it.
I had some sexy panties and bras but nothing that would work for this, so I went shopping. I found three outfits!
We arrived at the hotel around 7:00. The guys were there and ready for some fun. I was told to follow her lead and to have fun. Four hours later, the night was over. I was tired, sweaty, half naked and I am sure my perfume smelled more like men than a woman. However, me and my friend split 6,000.00. In four hours I had made 75 percent of my monthly take home pay. I felt rich!
Driving home from the hotel, I asked my friend how much money she makes in a month. She said about 11,000.00 or so.
That was my transition into the lifestyle and I have never looked back. I worked my regular job for a few years and I do consulting work as well to keep something legit. But I am basically full time in this industry. I have done the entire gamut and I have more money than could imagine. My friend and I have done many parties together and enjoy doing them. For me, this is a better way.
