I went to the dentist for surgery, and they told me they would use "minimal sedation" so that I would be numb, but would still be somewhat awake and would recovery quickly after surgery.

Well, let me tell you, minimal was more "maximum" than I thought! I could barely keep my eyes open, and didn't feel a thing.

As I was coming to, I woke up to find my jeans soaking wet! The nurse came over to me and said "sorry, we were trying to tell you while it was happening, but you were pretty deep under sedation." I didn't just leak, I PEED. The jeans were fitted low rise, so the pee ran all over. How embarrassing to watch the nurse wipe up the dental chair when I stood up. I was a mess!

I was so distraught that the nurse was nice enough to give me her exercise shorts to wear out of the office. I'm sure I looked pretty rediculous in a sweater, short running shorts and heels, especially with my jeans (not to mention my underwear) rolled up in a bundle under my arm. I went through the waiting room fairly quickly, so who knows what looks I received.

I asked her if it happens often. She smiled and said, "actually, not really." Great...!
