One Day You Are A Freshman In College, The Next You Are In Jail
Being too young to know better a friend and me went to a high school ballgame to pick up chicks. We met up with a couple of girls and they wanted beer so we left and went to a park where my friend got some beer he had in a cooler in the trunk of the car. The girls were thirsty and we got personal and I found myself fucking under the moonlight on the ground next to the car. That's when I bright light and kick on the side got my attention. A couple of cops were standing over us. My friend and his girl were sitting up.
We got taken downtown and told that the girls were underage, they said something about being fourteen and fifteen. And we had given them alcohol. They took us before a night judge who ordered we be held for 48 hours until a court could pass judgement. The next day we were marched before another judge who went ballistic and we were accused of perversion of minors and procuring alcohol for minors, both with heavy sentences.
I had no choice but to call home. My father did his best with a lawyer, but they had us and we pled guilty and got five years in the state compound, forget about college. We did our time, I got released after four and half years and the rest of my sentence on probation. I walked out a lot older but not wiser. I got into a verbal altercation with a police officer one night, it was raining. He accused me of assaulting him, but there wasn't any witnesses. My probation was revoked and back to the compound.
I did go to technical school and got a certificate in programing and work as a programmer for a small outfit. I don't talk too much about my time in the compound. Truthfully it was days on end without any thing happening. No one that I know was ever assaulted or treated badly. At most they took away your TV privileges.
I met Sandra a nice lady, divorced and alone. We hooked up and live together, common law sort of thing. It's not what I had envisioned when I went off to college. If there is one thing I can say about this is make sure the girl is of age, make double sure and don't take her word for it.
