My Uncle The Patriarch

As a 26 year old progressive feminist lesbian you think that crawling to my uncle, the family patriarch, when I was dumped by my girlfriend to be totally out of the question. I wept in his arms, his large strong hands caressing my hair and my back, I was back to being that little girl with her feelings hurt. I sat through his lecture about the one thing feminist lesbians have in common is being lonely and heart broken. The lecture about not fulfilling my destiny from conception to become pregnant and be the mother I was born to be. The lecture about true happiness comes from serving a man, being the wife I was raised to be. I listened as long as he held me to him, and I could cry into his shoulder.

I have run to his welcoming arms time after time. I can't possibly tell my 'friends' that I'm a two timing lesbian who can only find peace in the arms of a man. When he puts me in my place and he enters me, whether from the front or the back, I get this full feeling, my body where it should be. I am so scared of getting pregnant, but more scared of him not being happy with me. I was conceived in this family and in this family I will stay. I'm over my ex girlfriend and currently dating a girl I met through friends. I have never told anyone that I am now and always will be my uncle's, when my body and his are one, when he empties himself in me.
