So much water under the bridge. I'm turning 35. I never imagined I would be living in a cookie cutter suburban house. Soccer practice, ballet classes. After school activities. Vacations to see Grandma and Grandpa. What ever happened to wild times in Ibiza?
Last year my ten year old suburban died. I now have a new MDX with all the trimmings. It rides nice, big enough for soccer stuff, or a couple of extra kids in the third row. It's grey with rust interior. My husband only buys what's on the lot.
Ten years ago I was working, I had a future there. But I got pregnant, not my plan. An accident. His idea, well it's time to be a mother. He never said no to 'taking care' of the problem, but I knew at a very deep level, accept the pregnancy, get married, make him happy.
