Privileges Come With Rank

When I became CFO a long term client included me in an invitation to go fishing in Alaska. Others who had gone told me whatever is on your mind is available. The flight was to Fairbanks, then a flight into the interior on a six seater. We arrived at a river cabin, open a few months of the year, when back country entertaining was a good thing to do.

I met Tom there, a man of the woods. Short on words, he took care of everything. Including cooking. I was the guest, he was staff. That first night he checked in on me, reminded me to take short showers, the only hot water was from solar power.

Tom was assigned to make my trip worthwhile. We went upriver, then down river, saw lots of bear, from a distance. The fishing wasn't producing 'keepers', catch and release was strictly enforced. Over a nightcap, Tom gave me a magazine, out there electricity was precious, so 'read all about it'. Pure, unabashed, male on male porn, from another era. When I questioned Tom about it, he said he was sorry, but he thought I would like it.

I did. I have always liked it. How did he know? Never mind, don't talk about it. The rooms were small, a small bed, a dresser, a closet. No tv, not even a light socket. Light was a camp light, use sparingly. Later that night, exhausted, Tom came by and offered to rub me down. Tom was picked for his many talents, and getting down and dirty with his cock was one of them. In the dark of night, the sounds of nature, whatever I liked depicted in that magazine, he was open to it.

On my flight back from Fairbanks I understood why they were a preferred vendor, I'm sure Tom wasn't the only guide left out there. Depends a lot on what you like reading.
