My sister is dating a black guy. No big deal except for the fact that this guy is what you'd call a "thug". He's been to jail, has corn row and gold teeth. He has two different kids from two different women. He lives at his grandmother's house. No car or job, so naturally he can't pay child support. I refuse to let that loser come over with her to my house. It makes no sence, she has a good job and a bright future. That guy has nothing. He's using her and she doesn't see it. He would be a great Maury Povich guest, but not a good boyfriend for my sister. I have no problem with her dating a black guy. Just get one with some dreams, goals, and education.

See, right here you can see how political correctness has screwed up this country. This girl has to title her subject "I am not a racist." Why is it that if someone doesn't like someone else of a different race, they are considered a racist? That is a bunch of crap.

The fact is, this guy is a thug and you have every right not to like him. In fact, you have every right not to want to date someone if they are black. Racism? No. Personal preference? Yes. Just like if you didn't like blonde guys, or Italian guys, or whatever.....

As for your sister...geesh, who knows why she's with this guy? Could be shock value. Hopefully she'll get her act together soon, but do yourself a favor. Express your opinion, but don't keep expressing it, or you could cause a big rift between you two. Good luck, and don't apologise for not liking someone, no matter what race they are.

I have no problem with the fact that you don't want your sister to date this guy, but why bother to tell his race. Why not just describe him without telling his race and then show your sister how people react. Then she'll know that he's just a big loser.

On the other hand, consider your sister. What is up with HER that this is the type of guy that she's dating. Could she get a guy with an education, career, etc.? Maybe this is the best it'll get for her.

Hmmmmm......This a really interesting subject for me because at what point do you base someones character flaws on race, and at the other end of the spectrum when is it just a personality problem in general. To me this guy just sounds like a loser and as we all know losers come in all colors, shapes and sizes. LOL
I'm a black woman and in my earlier post (black woman hates some blacks), I stated that I'm at a crossroads sometimes when it comes to my own people. Because there are things that seriously bother me about certain black people. I listed a few things, such as the constant need to be a "Thug", when did it become cool to be "ghetto"?, the attitude problems of some black women, and the list goes on. You can't deny that certain stereotypes have a ring of truth sometimes.
Sounds like this guy, with the cornrows, no job, etc....
is alot like the guys I grew up around. So to me your message has a ring of truth to it. But more than anything, (and I'm learning this myself as well), for the most part bad comes in every race, the only difference when you look at it, is the way it comes across. He could have easily been a white boy with no job, minus the cornrows and skin color. Last time I checked white people go to jail too? Dont they? Just my thoughts.

Around here when I see white women with black men regardless of the social class of the guy, the woman is pretty trashy looking. Stringy blonde hair (usually bleached and overpermed), tacky clothes (too much skin, everything looks like it's from the $9.99 clothing store), and either a twig or heifer-sized.

On the other hand, when I see a black girl with a white guy, both she and the guy are really hot. It's the same for hispanic and asian girls. If the girl isn't white, both are hot. Why is that?

I noticed that too. The white girl with the black guy is always short fat and has really bad cheesy blond hair. But when the black girl with the white guy, she's sexy as hell and so is he. It's not a racial thing, just an observation.
