Life Long Love For Her And I Have To Accept Her The Way She Is
I am a fifty year old lesbian. I work in Financial Reporting for a medium sized publicly traded company. In my life I had two heartfelt loves. My first was in college, she was so fine. I was so in love, she wasn't. For her it was a pastime. Another girlfriend. Her treatment of me destroyed my self confidence.
I went to work right after college and slowly I climbed the corporate ladder. The key word is slow, lesbians aren't the first to be promoted. For some reason I failed to understand that coming out lesbian to other people is not ingratiating. I frequented known hot spots, but I wasn't able to go out with some 35 year old butch looking for sex with a young girl. I met a couple of lesbian girls and had deep crushes. One such crush turned into a life long love fixation. Halfway through our relationship, after we turned thirty, she got married, to a man. I had to share her with him, and her proclivity to produce children. My life invested in her, and our relationship, and she was going to stay married, at least until her children were all out of college. Which brings me to being fifty.
She is now divorced and we have this thing. First of all I have to accept all her baggage, her ex husband and her children. Yes I sleep with her, but they are just there, at the foot of the bed, if he whistles she is their for him, she will drive a hundred miles to help her daughter pick a sofa. It's hard being in love with her, but I am and have been since I was twenty seven. It's a long time to be in love. All that passion, those feelings, the years sharing her with her marriage and family, going to bed at night knowing she was in bed with a man and he could do anything. I begged and begged her never to tell me when he had sex with her, but she had to share, to tell me, every time he had sex with her. She sent me pictures of his after sex penis. Why didn't she send me pictures of herself in the mirror? Her fixation on him is absolute. But she is a lesbian and she knows it and I love her and she loves me, so we live together. No we are not getting married.
