An Open Comment To My Homosexual Brethren

I am a mature seasoned homosexual. I live in a large metropolitan area. I am a financial professional. I have a large network of friends and business acquaintances. No one asks me if I am a homosexual, no one cares.

And this is where my beef is. Quit being idiots, quit trying to be relevant. No one cares. The whole PRIDE thing is so yesterday. The adoption of the transgender as a cause célèbre is a huge mistake and error. You will never convince mid America that it is right to hide their children from them, that sounds so like the Nazis and the Hitler youth (yes I'm Jewish). How can you argue that hiding a child's emotional problems from the parents is helping that child? You can't issue an aspirin in school without the parent's permission. The transgender narrative proves the stereotype, that gay people have mental problems.

Go be gay, or queer, or homosexual. No one cares, but don't fuck with the children. If a person gets involved with a child's sexuality they are a p**ophile. How can you argue that getting involved in a child's sexual gender issues doesn't fall within that definition? I'm saying, it's the wrong flag to fly, it's the wrong issue to support. It represents a fraction of a fraction of the total population. And almost always it is transitional. Just like believing they are going to the next quarterback or next rock star. Children are imaginations in development, and following the latest craze is part of it. Believe me, we outgrow our childhood angsts.

During this Pride month (which itself has worn thin and lost its core purpose) get a life, no one cares if your a queer, or a homosexual.
