Somethings You Carry With You Until You Die

I was twelve then and lived with my grandparents in Mississippi. My grandpa was a captain of a fishing trawler owned by a company. I was at the boat with him when these two men showed up asking for work. Even I could tell these men weren't good for fishing in the Gulf waters. Grandpa told them to move along.

One took out a big wrench and hit grandpa on the head. The other grabbed me and put a sack over my head. I was carried off and put in a trunk. That's how I got to Texas several days later. I finished growing up in Beaumont. By the time I was able to get back to Mississippi my grandparents had passed.

I went back to live in Beaumont, worked as a clerk in a welding outfit. When the woman that raised me, I called her grandma, died she left me her house, her car and some money in the bank. I was rich by those standards. I took the Cadillac and drove until I ran out of gas.

I stopped and settled in that small town. Opened a bar. And closed it forty years later.

I lived with what those men did with me until they sold me to the Madam who finished raising me. She ran cheap hookers for the men at the plants and refineries until she died.

Confess what they did to you. Did you take them both at the and time ? I know what I do to women sometimes and it’s amazing they survived
