There Is No Such Thing As A Fourteen Year Old Unaware Of Sex

Summer camp in the Adirondacks was a family tradition. But fourteen is a little old. I was sent that summer as a junior camp counselor. It is also the summer I became sexually active with the camp counselor from my earlier summers. It wasn't forced, it was very much consensual. Unfortunately it became a horrible situation.

In my light headed response I let a friend at home know I had become a woman. She spilled the beans, her mother contacted my mother, my mother came up immediately and I was under the hot interrogation light. I refused to answer, but I slipped up with a 'who cares' comment, the head female counselor suggested it had to be 'him'. He admitted to it offering to marry me.

He pled to inappropriate sexual behavior with a minor, was fired, spent three years in the penitentiary, released to two years home confinement, registered sex offender. We got married the summer after he finished his home confinement. I was one hundred percent ready, willing and able to have sex. Most, no, all fourteen year old girls are ready for sex. Only prude women think they are protecting our virtue. Instead of self serving prudish attitudes give us birth control and condoms. We can handle it. By fourteen all girls know about sex, having babies, STDs, HIV. We are taught that at school.
