I was on a team to audit a target for acquisition. During the meeting the CFO picked four men, no women. I objected and he told me to shut up.
After the team left he called me into his office. I had to sit this one out, for some things he wasn't going to send me. It came with the territory. Beside him where he could keep an eye on me. My assignments were important but not in the field. Beside him. Always beside him.
