I'm sitting in my brandnew dorm room feeling like a big fraud. I've worked so hard to get here, but all I can think is how everyone else is so much smarter and cooler than me. Maybe I should have just gone to community college and lived at home. Or just gone to the state university so that I could come home for the weekends. Instead I'm going to be nine hours away. My parents are leaving in 2 hours and I feel like I should go with them. Should I drop out before classes even start? I think my parents could get all their money back except the room deposit.

- No. Have a little courage. In retrospect(after your graduation & beyond)you will be sooooooooooooooo happy that you stayed.

A lot of people feel that way. Just do your best and try to enjoy yourself. If you got where you are through hard work, then keep it up and you will not fail.

Personally, I was one of the really smart people that never had to do any work in High School, but I almost failed out of college, because I didn't know how to WORK when it came to the point that I had to.

So you are ahead of some of the smarter people there if you know how to apply yourself.
