Finding My Path

My claim to fame was I modeled at seventeen. By the time I was senior in high school I had lost the look. I went to a small college and degreed in communications. I was never a dater, no one interested me. By the time I finished college I entertained the idea that I was looking for love in the wrong places. Maybe I was more interested in my office coworker. A 'bookish' girl with strange ideas. Yes, for sure, she dated girls. But it was an idea, I never acted out on it.

A couple of years after graduation I got a job in a larger company, with offices downtown. Better pay, better benefits, but a bus ride commute. The bus from my apartment went through the gay neighborhood. Mostly gay males rode the bus, but one day a heavy set woman wearing a tutu boarded the bus. In her hand she carried a chain, on the end of the chain was a smaller girl, she looked like a ballet dancer. Dressed in a child's outfit.

It was such a shock I told my supervisor. A man twenty years older. What did I expect? Where my bus went was the world of weirdos. And he offered to pick me up and take me home every day. That's how I got yo know him, and not all conversations were business. At one point I told him I had never dated. He asked, was I a virgin?

For weeks later he pushed me, he wanted a virgin, no protection if any sort. A raw sexual encounter, with me running the risk of becoming a mother of his child. He wanted me pregnant, more than anything. He became obsessed with the idea. Eventually he wore me down and I let him. Once pregnant I became part of his world.

I met Bess that way. A thirty year old attorney, with the eye for a girl, and the kink of a pregnant girl. That's how I became 'entangled' with her. There was sex, but a lot more of socializing with her friends group. All girls who liked girls. Before my time came for the birth Bess had told me she loved me, she couldn't help it. On one side a man waiting to be surprised with his third shield, and on the other a woman fascinated with my gestation.

After birth I opted for another woman my baby Dad wasn't a helper. Somethings are better left to women.
