I'm Protecting My Investment

When I was in school the landlord asked my mother to lend me to him. After he started taking care of me, which meant I had protection at school, I graduated and went to the local college. I have continued with him well into my twenties. When he told me he had another girl I could stay or I could leave, it was my decision. I stayed.

I have people that ask me why I put up with her. Because I'd rather share than be alone. He will get tired of her. In the meantime I make sure she is never alone.
