Life Has Surprises, Some Quite Unexpected

My life was quiet, nice, simple life. Then along comes Sam. It was a coincidental meeting at the CVS. I ran my errand and was ready to leave, and Sam asked me for a ride. I'm not saying I believe in love at first sight, but chemistry doesn't wait for love. One minute I'm single, unattached. The next I have a shadow with me. Sam.

For the next year or so we 'dated', went out, had fun. We got more and more serious, buying furniture together. We talked about moving, to a nicer place. But, money. We stuck it out, until we just had to move.

My life is quiet, nice, but no longer simple.
