Indeed - any message that contains websites or email addresses are ripe for editing or deletion. So if the original poster replied with her email address, I'd just delete it.

The reasoning for removing email addresses:

The name is *anonymous* confession. Adding an email address violates this very basic tenet of the site.

This site is harvested by spammers. I don't have any reason to help them in their quest for email addresses.

I have no idea if an email address belongs to a message poster. A user could easily post the email address of someone else, and start to get deluged with, in this case, sites with pictures and/or stories they don't wish to see.

The reasoning for removing web sites:

I'm not in the business of being a porn portal (or a phishing portal or any other kind of portal). The web site posted by someone may lead to places a reader does not want to go or should not go.

The destination site may not wish to be linked to from this site. Rather than try to ask for permission, I don't allow any links at all.

You usually do your signature in all caps what is up with you not doing it this time? I think it makes sense but I still wonder about the signature!
