It's In The Blood, It's In Our Nature

When I was fourteen, my the nineteen year old brother killed a woman in a home invasion. After eighteen months he was given sixty to life. My parents broke up, we went from making it to poverty, all money plus borrowed money went to defending him. My parents argued it was self defense because the woman attacked defending her babies. I agreed with the verdict. The woman is dead because they wanted to rob her, and her babies list their mother.

I went to live with a friend's family after I was thrown out.

I graduated and went to junior college, got a scholarship and finished college. Went to work and became the girlfriend of my married supervisor. Overnight I went back to living like the slut everyone expected. It's in the blood, that's what they told me, I was born that way. I couldn't disagree, I was a slut, sleeping with a married man. His wife divorced him, his kids don't have a father, they are in poverty.

Why is the question I don't have an answer for. I am who I am, a slut. No better than my brother.

I fail to the correlation between you being a slut and your brother's actions. If you want to be a slut, be a slut and be proud. Do not try to explain away your life choices because of genetics.

You are wrong if you think you have to be like that. We are all born with inherited characteristics and tendencies, but God can help a person to change. You make the choice of what you will and will not do. You can have a tendency to alcohol but refuse to use it knowing that the consequences of alcohol use are bad for human health and morals. You can be inclined to lie but choose to tell the truth. Those who tell you that you should be proud of being a slut are talking nonsense. Such a choice in life will only destroy your life and that of others. You have already helped destroy a family by getting into a relationship with a married man. You didn't destroy her, that man did, but you are an accomplice in it. Change your choices and make good decisions. Run away from that way of life.
