Half Off Rent

My landlord is an asshole always has been. Hes late 50s early 60s and owns several small houses that he rents all on one street. He’s hard to get ahold of for any concerns or repairs but the rent is affordable and the houses are actually quite nice. He however comes knocking in person the first of the month to get paid and cuts you a receipt right then and generally offers no slack. It’s late fees for a small time then eviction. Pretty standard I know but it’s just him as a person that makes it’s it seem unbearable

Well life happened and I was short on rent and was dreading the knock. I invited him in and explained what was up and asked for an extension. All he said was what can you do for me as he sat on my couch and spread his legs really wide. He knew what he wanted and I knew what he wanted but he didn’t outright ask me.
