I Feel It In My Bones, It's Time For My Daughter To Have Her Babies

I was 21 in college and at a party with lots of alcohol and other stuff I wound up in bed with a guy. It was my first time, but the timing was just right, or wrong depending. I became pregnant, scared and alone I married him. After graduation, already with a daughter, we moved for his job. I set up a home and became pregnant again so she could have a sibling.

I'm in my forties now, I realize that I'm naturally a lesbian. I felt it when I was a kid, knew it in the back of my mind when I first got pregnant. But I never had time to worry about. I don't like sex, but lots of women put up with it, and I do too. I am a good wife, I know that much.

Our daughter is 21 and in college and I worry about her. She has birth control and is much more aware than I was, but secretly I want to welcome a baby from her. I know it's silly, but as a mother I want her to be a mother and find a good man to be the father. I was lucky. She was born before I knew what to do with her, her father carried all the load until I grew up enough to take on my responsibilities.

Our son is a good boy, a little rough, always liked the mud and the outdoors. One day, when he's ready he will make a good father. For know I wait for the next big part of my life, to be a grandmother.

I found figured out my wife was what you call a natural lesbian about two years into our marriage and after our first child was born. She tried to hide it from me. But some things are just way too obvious. So I sat down to have a long talk with her and find out how she really felt about everything and about us in particular. That is when I found out she loved me, deeply but like she loves her brother and her primary reason for marrying me wasn't because she was IN LOVE with me but because she wanted babies and it was obvious I was in love with her. I asked her about her lesbian experiences and she said she had never had a lesbian experience and had chosen to have a family over having a fully satisfying love live. I nearly lost it at that. I had to leave to room and cry for a moment and as a guy I'm not prone to crying. I didn't cry because from being hurt by how she felt. I actually was kind of happy she thought of me as a brother which is a more permanent relationship than husband. I was sad that she had sacrificed her full life just to have babies with me.

So I went back to continue the long talk after composing myself and it looked like she had shed a tear or two while I was gone. I sat next to her instead of across from her and hugged her for what was probably twenty minutes. No gr*ping. Just hugging. Then I pulled back and asked her what she would wish for if she had a fairy grandmother and she said she felt guilty about even thinking about it. So I told her there was nothing to feel guilty about and so she told me in a perfect universe she could be married to a woman while remaining married to me in a more platonic relationship having sex only to make babies and periodically to reward me with sex for being a good husband.

So I told her I needed to think about things for a day or two but I was NOT angry with her but only sad that this is a situation that is impossible to make perfect.

Two days later we sat down again. I told her that I would not come to her for sex except for baby making purposes. I told her I was OK with her having a girlfriend. I told her that if she wanted to and the girlfriend and I got along, I was OK with her moving that girlfriend in and no I would not try to have sex with her unless everyone thought it was a good idea which I doubt would happen. I told her she could decide whether we would continue sleeping in the same bedroom but I did not consider it mandatory or it's lacking a deal breaker. I told her that at a future point when our children were older we could get a divorce so she could marry the girl of her dreams once she met her. I told her that I was OK with either we all live in the same house or she and her girlfriend could set up a separate household some place but I would prefer it be close so that our children would never have to travel to be with their parents. I then told her that the price she would have to pay for all this flexibility would be she would have to look the other way when I start dating outside of marriage so I can also have my needs met. She threw her arms around me and hugged me and kissed me (not with tongue) for ten minutes almost squealing with joy.

So we have two kids, both sons, both in high school. We recently got divorced and decided to share the same house and we now have a combined household. She is about to get married and I will be giving away the bride, literally to a wonderful woman she is in love with. Meanwhile I am also engaged to get married at a later date to a slightly younger woman who has a daughter and my ex wife will be her matron of honor. We all live in a huge house together. Best of all, not alimony. No child support. We have four adults enjoying careers and unlimited free babysitting. My sons are delighted to have a new little sister who is excited with the idea of having two big brothers. My ex and I are done making babies and my fiance only wanted the one so no further expansion.
