My Husband Cheated, Got Her Pregnant, It's Up To Me To Clean Up After

In the fifteenth year of my marriage a young woman, 26, came to me and asked me to divorce my husband so she could marry him. After I got off the floor I wanted to know what brought that on. She was pregnant, a little, and placed it on my husband. At that point I was clinical, I'm a nurse by profession, if she was pregnant what was she doing about gestational health and nutrition. Was she seeing a 'real' doctor and not a partera. Was she healthy. And the mom in me wanted to know if she had a family network.

We didn't get back to my husband until I knew all my mom and nurse concerns were answered. He may or may not be the father, not withstanding her claim he is the only one that's been with her. Time and DNA would answer that question. I had a heart to heart with my husband, she was 'available' and he liked her, twenty years younger. She can't string an adult thought together, but he let his little head take over.

I took over, her care, her doctor, her nutrition, her home life. Preparing her to be a mother. I told her, if the DNA proved my husband was responsible, we would take the baby and raise it. If he wasn't responsible we would adopt the baby and raise it. Regardless, a baby needs mother's milk, she was breast feeding until the baby can walk unaided.

So much to learn, so little time, from meal planning to cooking, exercise and spiritual growth. By God this girl on my doorstep was going to be a healthy mother and have a healthy baby. I took her into my house, under my husband's nose. Like a two year old, he could see but not touch. She was my project, if he was the father he would get credit, if he wasn't tough shit, we were adopting the baby.

Only God's will was with us, her pregnancy was flawless, she had never been healthier. The baby came on time, my husband's child. She is breast feeding. She is part of my household, a 'younger sister'. We are working on his relationship with her, he is twenty years older, so how he treats her is critical. She gets to pick what relationship she wants with him. I won't interfere, it's up to her. Even if it's more than casual affection.
