The problem is in your brain. You are so toilet trained that its going to take some time and effort to re-train so you can release wherever you chose.
What happens if you sit on the toilet when you have to go really bad, but you leave your panties on? If you can't pee through them you might try keeping them high up above you knees and then stop in midstream(I know not easy)and pull them all the way up and I would guess the urge at that point will be so great you'll pee right through them?? As another option you can sit with them on and if you can't pee through them, simply pull them to the side and if you can pee that way then let them go mid stream and finish peeing through them. That is the first big step so I'll leave you to that for now.

The more you "exercise" that holding muscle the stronger it will get. To weaken it you simply need to start peeing at the first urge. Over time your bladder will lose its ability to hold a lot.

What happened after holding 10 hrs? Did you lose control then and if not why did you then pee?
