It Is Right Here In Our Back Yard, You Don't Have To Go Abroad

I was a college student vacationing on a beach south of the border with friends. We were in a bar when a man got angry at a waitress, took his machete and attacked her. He then turned on me. A guy, foreigner on holiday, stepped in blocking his attack with a chair, then striking him once unconscious. He grabbed my wrist and said let's go.

We ran and found a cab, then across a park, he stripped me of my jacket and let my hair down, and we entered a small hotel. Grabbing his things we ran out the back wearing baseball caps. It wasn't until four days later that we stopped, after crossing the border on a bus.

Not once during that run out of the country did I fail to follow orders. I did what I was told. I got home a week later. He left me at the door. Only then did I stop and breathe. He went underground, and so did I. Not the police, they also scared us, it was the members of the gang of the man that he knocked out.

It's been a lifetime, I never returned to that country. I changed my name, and kept a low profile.

I'm thinking about this today because of that young man who was set free today, and the 'gangs' of BLM issued a warning to him. He's not safe. I know that feeling, so does the guy who saved me from that deranged man. Being a hero puts you in the crosshairs of the bad guys, and the police will do nothing to prevent those unhinged BLM people from hurting him if they find him or track him down.

Why the FUCK would the "gangs of BLM" be interested in something that happened south of the border? You fucking liar!
