Is It Normal For Moms To Grab Their Daughters' Breasts?

When I was going through puberty, my mom was pretty consistent with checking up on my breast growth. She would cup my chest in her palms when they were first coming in, and every couple weeks or so she'd be like "let's see those mosquito bites" and then lift up my shirt and my training bra, and sometimes she'd pinch my nipple a little. I was annoyed but mainly because they were sensitive growing in, like, she made it sound like it was a normal thing for moms to check up on.

I developed pretty fast, and she seemed really impressed. She would reach around and grab them and tell me how jealous she was but also, sometimes, how afraid she was for me with boys. But weirdly she never like, made me wear "modest" shirts. And When they were getting bigger and I had real cleavage, it stopped being that she'd lift my shirt up to see and she started to rich in from the top instead and pull them out. Usually for just a few minutes at a time, like, weighing them in her hands, squeezing them, still pinching my nipples and acting like she was just teasing me, and a few times she took out her own boobs to compare them.

She also sometimes did just grope me without taking them out. Like, coming up from behind and would grab and laugh when I was surprised.

I'm not gonna lie, I did... enjoy it, sometimes, in a way that I felt weird about. I remember asking some friends if their moms were as obsessive as mine about checking up on their boobs, and a few said that their moms grabbed or pinched them too, but a couple others said that that was weird and they've never heard of moms doing that. I think I kinda mostly forgot about that for a while until recently when I had more people saying "a lot of moms will lack some boundaries with their daughters, but feeling you up that much was NOT okay."

I don't know what to think because now I'm afraid to tell more people about it. I just got such weird looks and such an intense talk with a friend recently that was just like, a whole lot of insisting that I go to therapy to deal with "what happened to me" or to even report my mom to the police, or something. And THAT sounds crazy. But... IS it that strange? It's not like she sucked on them, or made me eat her out or anything like that. I feel like surely at worst my mom just pushed it a little bit.
