This story is true, it's about me and my uncle John.

Uncle John is my mother's brother. I was being treated bad by my husband who was seeing another woman. Try as I could, the courts moved like snails. He wouldn't pay his obligations for three daughters. I was being evicted. Uncle John came to my rescue.

I wasn't a young woman, I was 47. But in his eyes I was. He moved me in with him, and my youngest daughter who was still in school. I took over the cooking. One night, after my daughter had returned to her bedroom and I was washing the dishes, he came up on me and slapped my bottom. I jumped, surprised. I turned and he said sorry.

I said that's ok, I needed that.

I dried my hands and went into my bedroom, I took off what I was wearing and told him to be gentle, I knew of his reputation. I suppose in his mind he was gentle, but then again he's not a woman. I cried, I was feeling horrible. The next time was better.
