Ex-wife Lied And Daughter Isn't Mine

I'm of course pissed at my ex-wife for yet another lie, but I'm also relieved due to a growing attraction.

My non-daughter is 23 and has really become a beautiful woman. I was afraid of my feelings but now I don't need to be.

She likes older men and it has been painful for me to watch her date random men my own age, when I wish she would date me.

Should I ask her out? Is it awkward if I want to have a baby with her, knowing that she and I are not related?

Joe-Bob definitely go for it!! Do you think she would be open to meeting up? If so take her out for dinner and drinks...lots of drinks, and find out how open she is to going back to your place. You could be in for some wild daddy-daughter fun!

There's one reason this doesn't sound true. And that is, you would know as a "non-father" what I'm about to write down next.

The thing is that if you've raised your non-daughter to her adulthood, meaning, at least several years, and you haven't known that she isn't your daughter and you've been married to your ex wife during those years, in legal point of view, despite your wife cheating on you, your non-daughter is legally your daughter. This law does apply to basically all western world thanks to UN and it's suggestions to protect cgildren safety. Often there's about 2 years of consideration time, which means that if within two years you would had suspect your wife cheating on you, you wouldn't be considered the father of the baby. But now she's adult already and you definitely not have that right anymore.

That means that if you get her pregnant, it is legally considered as i****t and inbreeding.

It also means that if you ever die, she will inherit you.

What this means then? Well, if you two are into it, then do not tell anyone about it, ever.

Even if she were your bio-daughter, why not go for it?

To the person who posted about the legal presumption that the husband is the father, of course this guy couldn't have contested paternity during his non-daughter's first years of life. His wife came clean when the daughter was already 23!

Clearly, he was worried about genetic risk, since he wants to have a baby. I applaud him for thinking things through. Sexual attraction has a way of overtaking us, and the next thing you know, there's a baby!

Now he knows he doesn't have to worry.
