Persistence Is A Winning Formula

I was traveling back from my grandma's 80th birthday and the guy beside me kept hitting on me and not leaving me alone. I hinted that I wasn't interested, then I said I wasn't interested, then I said please leave me alone. Then my conscience got me and I apologized and said we could be friends on the plane. Over the next three hours I fought off his hand, I moved against the other side of my seat to get away from his leg, them gave in and let him play with my hand.

He got my number, and I got his. I gave him a lot of information about my college education, my friends, my family, I told him everything. I did manage to get his name, Mike. When we were landing I held his hand until we were on the ground. He insisted on a kiss when bags in hand I went outside to meet my ride.

Texting, phone calls, a trip to see me, a trip to see him. He did get into my pants, I got down on my knees to please him. I spent a three day weekend with him. I told my parents about him. When my mother caught me looking at engagement rings, I had to confess it was on my mind.

We got married two weeks after my graduation, had a baby twelve months later. We moved to the East Coast, but I was homesick for my family so we moved back and he went to work for my father. Now my father had a trainee for running the business, none of his girls were interested.

Every once in a while I'm asked where I met him. I have to confess I met him on an airplane.
