Fiancé Looked At Porn And I Am Leaving Him

I caught my fiancé browsing a Website called XVideos. He doesn't consider it cheating but I told him on our first date that he had to stop looking at any form of porn.

I have never cried so much in my life.

I am leaving him tomorrow morning. I'm keeping the engagement ring.

Should I tell his parents? Could they make him stop?

Should I call HR for his company? He works for a car mechanic chain. I'm sure they don't want immoral employees. Would he stop looking if they threatened to cut his hours?

I secretly talked with my pastor. He recommended that I cancel Internet service, hide the computer keyboard and put a bible where the keyboard was.

Sad bint, grow up.

Clearly you are frigid and have mental issues to be so pathetic to divorce someone for such pathetic reasons.

I'm assuming this is fake, in order to get responses. Good job - it worked. If not fake, I would tell your fiance to leave you quickly as you've got this destructive religious thing going on.

What did porn ever do to you, honey?

You seem to have been brainwashed by Chump Lady and her ilk, who believe that all men with sexual needs are evil and that leaving is the only solution.

Get ready for it...

All men watch porn. ALL of us. Every day. Whenever we have a free moment with our cock. In the restroom at work. In the bathroom at home. When our wife or GF is out. When we are out and about and no one else can see our phone screen. Now that phones support picture-in-picture video, we may even be watching porn while we are texting you.

Yes, we get off on the fantasy. The kinds of girls who are different from those we meet in real life (maybe younger, or prettier, or with a different body type, a different skin color, or different fetishes). The kinds of sex you won't let us do with you (rough sex, facials, anal, etc.). The degree of submission you aren't comfortable with (or that would mark you as more of a whore than a potential GF or wife).

Just as you read romance novels, we watch porn.

It doesn't stop us from being good boyfriends, husbands, and dads. In fact, it lets us blow off steam so we can focus on our roles and obligations.

You absolutely should leave him. He sounds like a normal red blooded man who doesn’t need a psycho like you in his life.

What a dizzy bitch. What if he told you you couldn’t watch your favorite show on TV. Put the shoe on the other foot you shallow bitch.
Nothing wrong with a little porn. Maybe if you wasn’t so frigid and you let yourself go every once in a while he might not need to watch porn. Who knows you might like watching porn with him and do a few things you never thought you would.
But if you can’t do that go ahead and leave him because he would be much better off without you. If I was him I would tie you to the bed naked and turn on some porn and use sex toys and my cock on you and finish up in your tight ass. Then you could leave as soon as your ass stopped hurting. ????????????????

This is Gladys.

You men are nothing but evil perverts.

If being a lesbian was not a sin, that's what I would pray to be.

After staying up crying all night while my fiancé slept, I got online this morning hoping to find understanding and support. Instead, just vitriol and victim blaming (frigid, etc.).

I am not frigid. Just Christian. We don't have sex before marriage. He's Christian too, and he ought to understand that.

Online porn IS cheating. It is sex with other women, through a computer screen. Those women are real and they have wants and needs. That's what makes it even more disgusting. Watching porn is like räping these women.

Anyway, I secretly packed my bag last night and I will be gone as soon as my fiancé leaves for work. I am going no-contact, and that's the advice I've gotten from online communities for infidelity survivors.

Leave… but leave the ring. It was a symbol of a promise by both of you that was not honored. Not yours to keep & it comes off petty and vindictive

Why should I leave the ring? He is the one who broke his promise...and my heart.

Him watching porn is abuse and cheating, plain and simple.

Why wasn't I enough for him?

so I wonder if this is real also. Assuming it is. so what I’m getting from this is you are sleeping with your fiancé. But you are not having sex with him? You don’t think the sleeping with him before you are married as a sin? So he has seen you in your bed clothes but you’re not having sex with him. do you not understand how frustrating that would be for a man? I think you need to take a look inside because you don’t realize that you’re probably part of the problem of getting him aroused without any outlet. What is he supposed to do with seeing you in your bed clothes with no way to get that release? if you do leave him, don’t tell his parents don’t tell his job just leave. Are you trying to destroy this guy? You seem to be very vindictive. He who casts the first stone….

I am not casting any stones. I don't watch porn. I don't desire other men.

My ex-fiancé is a cheater. It is a character flaw.

You are victim-blaming. He cheats by watching Internet porn because he can. Not because I sleep next to him in an old T-shirt and sweatpants. But because he is a selfish, entitled man who breaks promises and doesn't respect women.

I had not heard of Chump Lady before reading the comments, but she gets it.

I personally don't think that this is real. If it is, however, why tell his parents? It's pointless. I'm sure that they understand that their son, at 20+ years old, masterbates. They probably have an active sex life, so you'll only be embarrassing yourself. The same thing with his job! Who at a garage full of hard working men, no pun intended, will care if he watches porn on his off hours? They all do too!

So, you say he's your fiance and you don't believe in sex before marriage? Are you fucking nuts? You expect him to just be completely asexual while you string him along and you compare porn to cheating? Wake up you puritan it's 2025!

I hope you leave him. Maybe then he'll get to enjoy the rest of his life. You found this site. Read some of the awful terrible shit that the men and women on here have done behind the backs, or with the approval of their wives, husbands, and SOs. If all he's done is watch some porn while you're blue balling him then that man is a saint! More than half the men here would have cheated on your ass already!

Make no mistake, porn is not cheating! Watching porn doesn't leave his cum in someone else's pussy, it doesn't bring his cock back to hhh ou dripping with the juices of his mistress, he's not guzzling the cum out of some guy behind the local 711. GROW THE FUCK UP!

You church people make me sick. And you wanna keep the ring? You're a special kind of bitch arent you? To go after the man's family and workplace but not even tell him you're leaving, you must be straight out of the 1600s. This is a porn site, its just in text instead of video. You reading on this site, in your own terms, is as close to infidelity as he is watching porn. How much have you read here? Did you stroke your clit while you read it or just close the page when you got scared of the tingling sensation in your pussy?

I hope this is fake. I really do.

I would bet your pastor would consider this website porn, yet here you are reading and writing. You’re doing the same thing you’re freaking out with him about.. Erotica is porn.
Did you tell your pastor you’re already sleeping with your fiancé? He doesn’t see a problem with that? Regardless you need to leave. You’ll both be better off. And no the ring doesn’t belong to you. It belongs to him. You don’t get to keep it just because you’re breaking up with him. It was an engagement ring and you’re no longer engaged. This is fake or you are just $tupid.

I'm still sobbing from the loneliness and the humiliation that my fiancé was looking at other women.

Now people are implying that I'm not a Christian and that it is my fault for tempting him.

I'll have you know that our pastor lets couples who are engaged live together for 2 months, as part of our preparation for marriage. After the 2 months, the couple has to make a final decision and complete the marriage courses. At this point they have to live separately, because that's when temptation mounts, and when there's still the possibility of hiding a pregnancy at the time of the ceremony.

It is understood that the couple is platonic during the two months. My fiancé agreed to that. And I had told him long before that porn is cheating and abuse and räpe.

We were 1 week into our 2 months when I caught him.

Please try to be compassionate, and to see it from my side, as an infidelity survivor.

Lol, you’re full of it. This is fake. No pastor is gonna tell you. It’s OK to live together for two months before you’re married. This is total bullshit And you got caught in your story.. Don’t bother responding to this psycho. What kind of Christian person comes on a porn type erotica website to ask for advice? You have to be looking for porn in the first place you don’t just stumble upon this website.

Un, confession is a major element for one branch of Christianity, Catholicism, so I would not classify a confessional site as porn, or as unchristian.

Obviously this person is not Catholic, but who knows, whether it's fundamentalist Mormons or some evangelical congregation with guitars, pianos, Christian rap and other modern stuff, it's entirely possible that some religious group allows platonic cohabitation to prepare people for marriage.

Either way, one thing is certain. When someone asks for help and understanding, it's NOT Christian to attack, denigrate and discredit the person. If you can't say anything to help this girl (which could mean agreeing with her, or gently explaining why porn might be normal and why not all porn is abusive), don't say anything!

Please leave him. He deserves better. It's not enough for you to embarrass him, steal the ring but you seek to ruin his life.

Gladys,

I’m a 36 yr old, formerly Christian male. I was Raised a Baptist Christian and grew up with presumably very similar values to those of your faith.

When I was 21 I married a good Christian girl. She felt very similar to how you do about porn. We both did. Even I considered it cheating and immoral. I didn’t know what to do with my awful sinful habit.

I was so conflicted. Why did I do this thing that hurt us both so badly!? I decided to dive deep into my spirituality and figure it out. As someone who has healed from that mess, I can very confidently say that you shaming him had everything to do with your own need for healing and growth. I may not agree strictly with some of the comments above but the sentiment of them I strongly agree with. Your faith is deeply immature and you damage him deeply by shaming him for being a sexual creature, like every person is, most especially, you. Do yourself and him and the world a favour. Be honest about, and do the work of integrating your own sexuality. And stop projecting your shame onto him.

Turn to your bible and I think you’ll find that Jesus’s mother was having sex with someone other than his dad Joseph. So no purity there either.
