I Will Get Another Relationship To Be The Other Bookend To My Life
I had one girlfriend in college, and when she broke up with me I became silent and hurt. I graduated without being able to get over her and moved back to my home town. My parents are a dentist and a lawyer, so they make pretty decent money.
I moped around in the house for a year before I ventured out and got a job working for a Real Estate Broker. He pushed me to get my license. But I never liked showing houses or apartments. And to be truthful I was always scared to be alone with some guy in an apartment. I met a woman, we were no longer girls, and she was into somethings that I liked, and we went down the rabbit hole having sex and getting along. My parents gave me an ultimatum, stop that behavior or move out. My mother particularly wanted me married at any cost.
I've been married fifteen years and I still have never been able to explain why I did it. I hardly knew him, only casually. I married him six weeks after first going out with him, and when we went out it was a disaster. I turned up pregnant, it was a subconscious thing. I wanted to prove to my parents that I could be responsible. Now I was married and I went through all the steps of disillusionment, one by one. I did change my name after six months, and I did get pregnant like I said earlier. I had a son, men like that, so they can pass down their name.
Socially I never went by my married name. One day a friend of mine reminded me that either way I would always carry a man's name, my husband's or my father's. So give it up and start using my husband's name, especially for when my son went to school. I confessed to her that what I really wanted was to just kiss with a girl, just make out for an hour. I kissed her on the couch. She didn't resist or turn me away. So now that I kissed her, what came next?
It was so hard to just let go and have sex with her. It was so damn awkward. So awkward that I quit trying and went back to bed with my husband. And that's where I've been all these years, getting pregnant again and having a girl this time. I sell real estate part time, and sometimes I have a special client to look after. I will go as long as a woman is there, I never go with just a man and my boss never makes me do that.
After al these years I'm back in the closet now. My early history of spending time with a girl is a memory now. My husband is glad I got over that because it really bothered him, although he didn't say anything at the time. You know you've surrendered when you go through all the motions of getting the house ready for the night, and getting in bed beside a man to put his hand on your breast and turn you onto your back.
