Boyfriends Father

Ten years ago I had an eighteen month affair with a married guy who was mid thirties. For the last four months he actually left his wife and we lived together before he decided he couldn’t break up his family and leave his two children, a fourteen year old boy and a ten year old daughter.

Having moved state and started a new life last year I was in a club with friends and this young hot guy kept staring at me. Slightly drunk I said hello and before I knew it I was back at my apartment having the best sex of my life.

He stayed and over breakfast told me he was twenty two but liked older girls. I laughed but he hung around for the morning and I really enjoyed his company. It became regular that we would spend time together and then he asked if we could be officially a couple.

We met each other’s friends and everyone was pleased for us. Despite the age difference he made me so happy.

Last month he said he’s parents were coming to town and he wanted me to meet them over dinner. I was excited that he saw this as a long term relationship.

As we walked in the restaurant and his parents stood up to say hello I recognized his father my old lover. At that moment his mother recognized me too and the atmosphere dropped several degrees.

Then my boyfriend dropped his bombshell. He said he had immediately recognized me when we had met in the club but hadn’t said anything because it was never the right time. More importantly he told his parents he was in love with me, wanted to be together and needed them to accept me.

They left.

That's wonderful. If you couldn't win over the dad, at least you got the son.

As for the original affair between you and the dad, I don't understand men (or women) who insist on staying in unhappy marriages for the sake of the kids. Happy parents make for happy kids.

The dad was weak, but his son sounds strong!
