The Awkward Time After Surgery
I had carpal tunnel on both hand a year ago. Needed to get both done at the same time so that I wasn’t off work long
I was awake for it so just got my hands all numbed up
Afterwards I’m in recovery and I had to pee. I definitely wasn’t going to ask my family member to help with that so a nurse helped
But this is where it got a bit awkward. The nurse and I go into the restroom. I had a gown on plus pants and underwear. The nurse helps me by pulling my pants and briefs down then I tell her it will be much easier and less of a mess for me to just sit to pee.
As I’m sitting I say this is a bit embarrassing but I need my foreskin pulled back. She looked down and said oh yeah that is a must. Once she pulls it back I said it will stay back long enough for me to pee. She steps out for a minute
She comes back in and as she’s pulling my underwear back up she says I’m going to pull the skin back over if that’s fine with you. I said yes definitely need to do that.
