When I was in high school in the late 50’s it was a rubber (condom for you younger ones) if one was available or you just had to hope you were lucky and got your next period if he didn’t use one.
I tried to avoid doing anything around my fertile days but took a couple of chances which was scary.
Even then there was always that chance you’d get pregnant so if you were late it was stressful.
Girls today have every thing available to avoid an unwanted accident.
