Looking For Love
I was on a dating site when I got a match and contacted by a Filipino lady. She lived quite close so I went to meet her and we got on really well. It was early 2024 and although I should have read the signs as she did everything she said we couldn't do. She said no sex until we are together but that fell apart the first night. We didn't have full on sex just petting etc.
All she said all the time was that she wanted a husband and wanted me to leave my life and live with her. Thing is I had a very sick dog and lived with my daughter so I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. My dog died in mid2024 from old age.
She invited me to her house, I met her daughter and son and we got along great. I really thought I had found love but, then she told me that she had been seeing a dr** dealer. Although she had ended that relationship, she thought she had better tell me now. I immediately asked her to go to the doctors and get tested which came back negative, (dodged a bullet right there).
I asked about the boat on her driveway and she said it was his but he had nowhere to put it. Furthermore, I said I want it out of there or I'm done. She tried but he asked if he could leave it there until he found somewhere else. I returned home and we were chatting and we sort of fell out over the boat. At this point she sent me a text telling me that she regretted having sex with me possibly to make me feel bad. I told her I was happy to wait and she had initiated the sex not me, she acknowledged this and said okay I did.
I then asked "do you regret having sex with the dealer" and she did not reply so I asked "will you state that you will never have sex with him again" and she did not do that claiming she didn't understand.
I told her there that we were done and she was upset but still no answers to the two questions. Over the next 30 minutes I asked her the same questions around 10 times each and she would not answer them so I said to her. "I am very sorry but, I cannot rely on someone who is dishonest and I will not be meeting you again".
As far as I know she is still seeing the dealer on and off and I got away lightly.
I think I did the right thing, do you? Is a bad relationship better than no relationship?
I am still feeling unloved and lonely and yet I hardly think about her. The boat seems to have gone now but I am not sure why?
