I Haven't Been With A Woman Since I've Been With A Man

I was 28 then, a straight girl unattached at work, a lesbian girl at night looking to be picked up. I came from another city, far from where I worked. I went to college in another state. My secret life was safe, no one knew me other than at work.

One of the women I saw from time to time was a lawyer who did pro bono work for gays and lesbians. She was 43, and I liked being a rag doll. That night I was with her. She ran a red light, and we were hit and rolled over. She was trapped and I crawled out. The papers picked up on it, because of her work. Lesbian lawyer and her midnight lover. She was DUI, and hurt. I was hurt and treated at a hospital ER. Missed several days of work.

A man who was wired into the police put two and two together and figured I was the 'midnight lover'. He confronted me. I wasn't able to lie to him. He kept it to himself, except he mounted an effort to turn me away from 'that' behavior. In one discussion I told him I liked being a rag doll, something he couldn't understand. I asked him if what he liked was tearing a new asshole in some unsuspecting girl.

I never expected to be that unsuspecting girl.

He likes me, doesn't accept my 'inclinations' to go to a lesbian club. I had to testify that the lawyer was drinking before we left the bar. She had a blood alcohol level that was above the legal limit, my testimony was 'corroborative'.

I haven't gone back, I can't go there any more. As far as my work, I'm straight, and I'm a girlfriend now. He's a 'keeper'.
