Dreaming Of Gina

I've been working at a college in Northeast Florida for about a year now, and ever since I arrived, there's been someone who’s quietly captured my heart. She's one of the security guards—a light-skinned Black woman, probably in her sixties—and while she might not fit the typical mold of beauty, there's something deeply alluring about her. Her presence is calm and grounding, like a soft breeze on a heavy day. Her voice—soothing, warm, almost melodic—has this way of wrapping around me, making even the briefest conversations feel intimate.

There's a quiet grace in the way she moves, a gentle strength in the way she carries herself. I often find myself lost in thought, wondering what it would feel like to kiss her, to hold her close and let that calm presence wash over me completely. She lingers in my mind more often than I’d like to admit, and the pull I feel toward her is something I can’t quite explain—but it’s real, and it’s growing.

Honestly, Jay, you need to tell Gina how you feel. At worst it's not mutual, but at best, you could end up spending the rest of your life with this woman.

You don't say whether you are currently married. It doesn't matter, though, because the heart wants what it wants.

Go for it, let it play out. You need to see if it’s love or lust.
