She Changed So Much

On Saturday mornings most weeks . Four of my friends all girls join me at a coffee shop . We like to chat over a coffee . Three of them work in the same office . One Saturday they were talking about an older woman who worked with them . They all liked her . She was 35 and had always lived with her parents looking after them . She never got to go out . She wore dowdy old fashioned clothes . She had an old fashioned hair style and she never wore makeup . They all felt sorry for her . Now her parents had both died . Leaving her a large valuable house and a good amount of money . She had sold the house and bought an apartment in the new block down the street from the coffee shop . They decided to befriend her and invite her to join us for coffee . The first time she came i could see how nervous she was . I liked her and i wanted to be a friend to her . Over the weeks i talked to her as a friend . She started to relax . One week the girls told her to be ready to go shopping next week . When they had finished their coffees . They took her with them to go shopping . The following Saturday i could not believe it was the same woman . She was wearing modern clothes and makeup . She was attractive . I asked her if she liked her new apartment and what the views were like from her balcony .
