Traditional Wife Skills Makes You Want A Baby
At 33 the train had left the station. I was DESPERATE, so I agreed to date an older man. He was nice and could afford me, not that I'm some gold digger. He talked, and talked, and said he needed a woman who wanted to be a woman. You know, cook and have babies.
I went for my morning walk with Astrid my neighbor. Can you cook? she asked me, if not get to cooking. The baby part is the easy part.
I took some lessons from this professional homemaker. I learned a couple of dishes, and I cooked for him. How about home made pancakes? Can you do that? I had to take a lesson on making pancakes. Good thing I'm a fast learner.
I didn't dare ask him if I had to submit to a baby making test.
Well, to make a long story short. He married me, whisked me away on a honeymoon trip to practice making babies. I came home from my honeymoon, fertilized. But I had forgotten how to make pancakes. I had the recipe, but how? I blamed all the sex, it distracted me.
I work with the professional homemaker teaching young girls the art, lost, about cooking and homemaking. Not because a man demands it, because a woman loves it. Guys change tires, clean gutters, go to baseball. Women cook and clean and make babies. And love it. At least that's my personal experience, and my students echo it.
Each girl gets her very own signature apron. It's made so she can nurse her baby, while she's cooking dinner.
