A Modern Day Work Wife
So, the dirty details. I worked in a large firm, run by men for men and the women were there to 'serve' them. I was the favorite of the man in question, fifty, with a wife and children. It was the proverbial work wife relationship. He knew when I had my period, and I knew when it was necessary to relieve the pressures building up in him. It was almost always oral, a blowjob in his office. I kept a box of Kleenex in his office to wipe my face and his penis. Yes, girls, you wipe his penis, and suck it gently after he has achieved his purpose.
I developed migraines. At first I thought it was stress, but it became obvious that they were tied to my period. The only person alive I could talk about my periods with was him. You would think I had a girlfriend, or a sister or my mother, but when it came to the most intimate, I could only talk with him about that. I even had a talk with him one day about the proper way to wipe my butt. He concluded from my description of my migraines that it was my birth control and told me get off, I could face the other way and he could use the other hole, or if I was aware enough I would let him know and insist on pulling out. The other hole was out of the question.
I've been criticized enough about this. I could not ask him to 'pull out', or wear a condom, or use spermicide. This was his sperm and I wasn't going to kill it. I was 28, in love beyond expressions, and I was ready for him to make me pregnant. I wanted to get pregnant right then. It was my chance. The push for getting pregnant was so strong that I insisted on having sex every day, in the 'love nest' or at the office, I didn't care. My brain called out to me 'more sperm, more sperm'. I got his sperm, and I got pregnant. The most cherished news of my life was when the doctor (a she doctor) told me 'you are pregnant my dear, 8 weeks'.
When your mind is not with you, you do what you would never do if your brain was engaged. Did I call my sister? NO. My mother? NO. Did I tell him? NO. I called his wife to share the news with and told her over lunch at our little lunch place. "Oh my, OH MY! A little too much work wife, isn't it?"
I've been rewarded with a little girl, who I fell in love with immediately. I had to move while I was pregnant to a better place with room for a child to grow up in and a much better school district, I went suburban. Work was out of the question, first because getting a subordinate pregnant is pretty much the kiss of death these days, and second because I had promised myself that if I ever had a child, I would stay home and raise my child. I would not be an absent mother. I'm a 'kept' woman.
I never had another migraine.
